Sean Woodland

Resilience!

  • Australia

In the past couple of years ‘Woody’ has received critical acclaim opening shows for American comedy superstars Ari Shaffir, Shane Gillis and Dave Chappelle.

Honing his craft over the past winter in the UK, in 2025 Woody is touring Australia with another blistering assault on societal hogwash and the pretentious devotion to striving for higher status.

This time the target is ‘Resilience’. Hot on the heels of ice-baths, manifesting and mindfulness, ‘Resilience’ is having a resurgence, and it’s keeping the gullible self-help enthusiast occupied.

Formerly known as ‘life’, ‘Resilience’ can now be bought, sold, analysed relentlessly and talked about endlessly, mostly by shifty spiritual entrepreneurs. And as Woody will show, it can also be hilariously pulled apart.

'Has more than average number of laughs up his sleeve. Do Woodland and yourself a favour and get along.' ★★★★ Adelaide Advertiser

Suitable for audiences 15+

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.
