The entrance to the Cloak Room is via Swanston St. The venue is on the First floor.
If you are facing the main entrance on Swanston Street:
- Enter through the main portico doors.
- Ascend the main staircase - approx. 20 stairs. Stairs are carpeted with handrails on either side.
- At the top of the stairs, turn right and the entrance to the venue is approx. 20m along the corridor in front of you (with the Peter Cook bar on the right.)
For step-free/wheelchair access:
If you are facing the main entrance on Swanston Street:
- To the left is a doorway that provides access to the Lower Town Hall and the Cloak Room.
- Enter the doorway and proceed down the ramp that leads to the Lower Town Hall lobby.
- Before you reach the Lower Town Hall lobby, turn right and follow the corridor down to the lifts.
- Take the lift to the first floor.
- Exit the lift into the large black and white tiled foyer.
- Go through the large gilded bronze doors towards the main steps and turn left.
- The venue is at the end of the corridor.
