The entrance to the Flag Room is via Swanston St. The venue is on the Second floor.
If you are facing the main entrance on Swanston Street:
- Enter through the main portico doors.
- Ascend the main staircase – approx. 20 stairs. Stairs are carpeted with handrails on either side.
- At the top of the stairs, pass through the large gilded bronze doors and into the large black and white tiled foyer.
- Turn right and continue up the internal marble staircase to level 2 (approx. 20+ stairs).
- On Level 2, follow the landing into the long, red carpeted corridor.
- Follow the corridor down approx. 30m.
- The venue is on the right.
For step-free/wheelchair access:
If you are facing the main entrance on Swanston Street:
- To the left is a doorway that provides access to Lower Town Hall and Powder Room.
- Enter the doorway and proceed down the ramp that leads to the Lower Town Hall lobby.
- Before you reach Lower Town Hall lobby, turn right and follow the corridor down to the lifts.
- Take the lift to the second floor (Level 2).
- Exit the lift into the landing. Turn left.
- Proceed down the long, red carpeted corridor approx. 30m.
- The venue is on your right.
