Lower Town Hall

The entrance to Lower Town Hall is via Swanston St. The venue is on the Ground floor.

If you are facing the main entrance on Swanston Street:

• To the left is a doorway that provides access to Lower Town Hall.
• Enter the doorway and proceed down the ramp. 
• From the lobby there are 4 steps down to the seated venue level.
• To the left of the stairs is an automated wheel chair lift that provides step free access to the venue level.

All seating is general admission.

Lower Town Hall seating consists of;

•           Flat floor seating consisting of high back banquet style fabric chairs. Accessible seating is available on the right-hand side of the performance space, close to the accessible lift.
•           A raked seating bank at the rear of the flat floor seating with offset aisles and plastic fold-down chairs. The seating bank has a wide stair with approximately 10 steps to get to the top row.

A Comedy Festival Front of House staff member can provide assistance to your seat.

Accessible Bathroom – There is an accessible bathroom on the ground floor. Please speak to a staff member for assistance in finding your way to this facility.

There is a bar situated in the Lower Town Hall lobby.
